About Pumpkin Patch
2024 Pumpkin Patch
This Halloween, Barrhead brought something new to town: a Pumpkin Patch at the top of Centenary Park, near the Cochrane Street entrance. Families enjoyed the chance to pick their own pumpkin in a fun, festive setting before heading to The Centre to carve it at our pumpkin carving stalls. To keep the event safe and enjoyable for all, it was ticketed with time slots to manage numbers. Tickets were just £2 offering families an affordable pumpkin patch experience compared to similar events elsewhere and included access to the patch, photo props, and a pumpkin to take away and carve. Thanks to the support of All About Barrhead, who covered the cost of the pumpkins, all net proceeds from ticket sales were donated to East Renfrewshire Food Bank. It was a fantastic day filled with autumn magic and community spirit.
