Explore East Ren app
This year we have been thrilled to introduce "Explore East Ren" a multi use app for your mobile phone which allows the East Ren community to find out all the important information about businesses and events in the area in one place. The app also gives customers the chance to check the weather, look for bus information, redeem offers, report problems, follow trails around the towns and get notifications right to their pockets about the latest information relating to the three Business Improvement Districts of East Renfrewshire.
Online Training
We will shortly be launching a brand new CPD platform for businesses to use. More information will follow shortly.
Free Mobile LED Billboard Advertising
One of the standout benefits of being part of All About Barrhead is access to our LED billboard advertising van. In the run-up to major events - especially around Christmas and during popular occasions like the Halloween Parade - we hire this mobile display to promote both the BID and our levy-paying businesses. The van travels through high-traffic areas across Barrhead, East Renfrewshire and even Greater Glasgow, showcasing everything our town has to offer.
At events, it leads parades and festivals, proudly displaying adverts for BID businesses so visitors can see exactly who helps make these events possible. Normally, hiring this kind of advertising would cost around £100 per day - but for our BID members, it's completely free and offered at least once a year but usually twice!
Monthly Business Support emails
Each month you will be emailed a round up of all the local information relevant to your business. That might include free courses, workshops or it could be opportunities to get involved with a BID project.
