Big Barrhead Halloween Parade 2024 – A Spooktacular Night to Remember!

The 2024 Big Barrhead Halloween Parade was one of our wettest events to date – but that didn’t stop our incredible community from showing up in force for a night of spooky celebration and fun!

Despite the rain, hundreds turned out in fantastic costumes to take part in the parade, which set off from Tesco Car Park and made its way through the town, cheered on by spectators all along the route. A fire performer lit up the gloomy skies as they walked with the parade, adding a fiery twist to the proceedings, while families and groups brought brilliant energy and creativity, showcasing everything from classic monsters to clever homemade creations.

The route finished at the Community Square outside Asda, where the winners of our £50 costume competition prizes were announced live on stage, just before the evening ended with a spectacular Firework Finale.

We’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who braved the weather to be part of this special event – your support, enthusiasm and community spirit made it a night to remember!
